Erinina Marie Ness is the inventor of the fire trapeze and a performance artist and writer living in Austin, TX (formerly New York City). She is a member of the local troupe Crash Alchemy and is an event producer, a theater director, physical theatre performer, teacher of the arts and craft maker (or you know, your general hustling, starving artist). She is a 2005 graduate of Sarah Lawrence College and has her own upcycled craft line that she calls Cirque Couture. She is currently performing aerial dance (with a preference for the static trapeze), various quirky characters, multimedia installation and working on traveling the world. She enjoys reading, visual art, science, hiking, rowing, literature and exciting new things.
This blog has three categories. The first is a travel blog for when Erinina is off on adventures and is a way to stay connected with her various homes. The second is a photo blog as part of the Why Do You Do What You Do project and is also usually tied to her travels. The third is a daily Happiness Mantra or Thought for all the days not traveling inspired by Gretchen Rubin’s Happiness Project. In 2013, Erinina began an experiment called the Year of Saying Yes, which is now an ongoing part of the blog as well.
How lovely! Welcome to the blogosphere Nina!
In the words of Paul Newman: Where the hell are the singing cats?
Happy Birthday Love Dad.
Thanks Dad! Evie doesn’t even meow…so I don’t think she’ll be singing anytime soon…but I’ll work on it. ;)
From Me, Joe and Spook (our cat):
